Job summary

WVTM 13 in Birmingham, AL, is seeking an entry level Sales Account Associate for a comprehensive 9-12 month training program to develop into a Sales Account Executive. You’ll learn local television sales, assist in proposals, create marketing materials, and coordinate with sales, production, and finance teams.

You'll train on WideOrbit Traffic and Media Sales platforms, work with Nielsen data, and practice presentations to support campaign delivery and client success.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Excellent social, intrapersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Excel or ability to maintain complex spreadsheets.
• Enterprising spirit with goal of becoming a media sales account executive in 9-12 months.
• Related military experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist the development of sales proposals, advertising packages, and client presentations.
• Create supportive marketing materials for the sales department.
• Prepare proposals based on account executive requests.
• Communicate with teams and external clients on performance and delivery of campaigns.
• Enter and maintain all orders including electronic transfer and maintenance of WOCentral orders to WideOrbit.
• Manage sales database.
