Job summary

You will qualify designs using ANSYS thermal and structural analyses, work with Westinghouse processes, and ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence in all projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) with related experience.
• Proficiency in ANSYS Workbench; familiarity with ANSYS Mechanical (APDL).
• 0–2 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations and apply the ASME Code to design and analyze reactor vessel internals using FEA and other tools.
• Execute design and analysis plans from preliminary through final design; translate requirements into compliant solutions.
• Qualify component designs using ANSYS-based thermal and structural FEA and internal engineering methods.
