Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer for Data Center projects within the Buildings sub-discipline. You will contribute to HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design to support client goals while growing professionally.

You will work with teams on diverse projects, gain hands-on experience, and participate in the company’s ESOP and broad benefits program. Hybrid work options are available after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Basic knowledge of engineering design principles and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develops familiarity with design guides, standards and codes.
• Equipment sizing and performance calculations.
• Develops Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Prepares basic engineering deliverables within scope.
