Job summary

This entry-level role focuses on developing design expertise within a collaborative team, primarily using Revit to model HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems from redlines or guidance.

You will assist with project setups, layouts and coordination of equipment within rooms, and learn Division 21–23 specs while under engineering mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Written and verbal communication skills commensurate with the position.
• Strong organizational skills preferred.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, flexible and curious.

Responsibilities

• Model components and systems in Revit for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Set up mechanical models in Revit for projects.
• Design and coordinate equipment layouts within rooms/plans.
• Mentor with lead engineers to learn mechanical engineering practices.
• Autonomously complete delegated design tasks.
• Collaborate in QAQC per HED's Design Process.
• Attend client and internal project meetings.
