Job summary

Harley Ellis Devereaux (HED) seeks an entry-level Mechanical Designer to support the Healthcare group, focusing on developing design expertise in a collaborative environment and gaining hands-on experience in system design, documentation, and coordination.

The role centers on Revit modeling for HVAC, plumbing and fire protection, with project setups and team collaboration under mentorship from lead engineers. Hybrid in-office days are provided to connect with teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent, required.
• Written and verbal communication skills commensurate with the position.
• Strong organizational skills preferred.
• Revit experience preferred.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and email.

Responsibilities

• Primarily working in Revit, modeling components and systems for HVAC, plumbing and/or fire protection.
• Execute project setups in Revit for mechanical models.
• Design, layout and coordination of mechanical equipment within a room/plan.
• Attend client meetings and internal project team meetings.
• Collaborate with QAQC and project designers/lead to follow design standards.
