Aerotek in Ramsey, MN is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to build custom mechanical and refrigeration systems from start to finish. This hands-on role involves reading blueprints, cutting and installing copper piping, brazing with oxy-acetylene, and using hand and power tools.

Mechanical Assembler | Build Custom Equipment & Grow Your Trade Skills.

Looking for a hands-on career where you can learn, build, and grow?

We are hiring Mechanical Assemblers to help build custom mechanical and refrigeration systems from the ground up. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with tools, assembling equipment, and seeing a finished product come together. No previous brazing experience is required. We are open to entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.

What You'll Do:

• Assemble custom mechanical units and refrigeration rack systems
• Cut, measure, and install copper piping and insulation
• Learn and perform brazing using oxy-acetylene equipment
• Read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
• Use hand and power tools to build customer-specific equipment
• Assist with fabrication and welding-related projects when needed
• Perform quality checks and help test completed units
• Work closely with a team to complete custom builds

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday | 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Enjoy every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off.

Work Environment:

Work in a large manufacturing facility building custom equipment from start to finish. This is an active, hands-on position focused on craftsmanship, teamwork, and quality. Steel-toed boots and long pants are required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ramsey, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
