The ideal candidate has basic CNC knowledge, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn tool and die manufacturing. You will collaborate with experienced toolmakers, machinists, and manufacturing professionals.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Technical certificate, apprenticeship coursework, or associate degree preferred.
• 0–2 years of CNC machining or tool and die shop experience preferred.
• Exposure to Mastercam or similar CAD/CAM software.
• Recent graduates encouraged to apply.

Aufgaben

• Assist with creating and modifying Mastercam CNC programs for tooling, dies, fixtures, and related components.
• Develop and adjust CNC milling toolpaths, setups, and machining sequences under guidance.
• Read and interpret tooling drawings, CAD models, blueprints, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Collaborate with toolmakers and CNC machinists to meet tooling requirements.
• Assist in selecting cutting tools, feeds and speeds, workholding methods, and strategies.
• Use Mastercam simulation and verification tools to identify issues before production.
• Support troubleshooting of CNC programs and dimensional issues.
• Revise programs based on shop-floor feedback and tooling changes.
• Maintain CNC program files, setup docs, and revision records.
• Follow quality standards and safety procedures.
• Support continuous improvement of tooling quality and machining efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
