Job summary

Infotree Global Solutions in Illinois is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to program, set up, operate, and inspect CNC tooling components for die and mold production. You will create programs with Mastercam, read drawings, and support tooling documentation using AutoCAD Mechanical and Inventor.

Responsibilities include selecting tooling, maintaining accuracy to tolerances, and collaborating to improve throughput while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in machine shop operations or precision machining.
• 2–5 years CNC programming with Mastercam, AutoCAD, or equivalent.
• Proficient in G-code, M-code, setup, and tooling selection.
• Ability to inspect with precision measuring tools to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC milling equipment (Okuma, Haas, Nidec, Toyoda).
• Create CNC programs using Mastercam and verify with drawings.
• Use AutoCAD Mechanical and Inventor for 2D/3D tooling docs.
• Select tooling, fixturing, feeds, speeds for die and mold parts.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and height indicators.
• Monitor performance and adjust as needed to maintain quality.
• Support safe practices and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with team to meet production schedules and priorities.
• Identify throughput and cost-saving improvements; train junior machinists.
