Austal USA seeks a Marine/Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design, calculation, and drawing development for maritime vessels and shipboard systems. You will work on structural, propulsion, electrical, and hydraulic aspects on-site in Mobile, Alabama.

The role requires 0–3 years in engineering and familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office, along with strong communication and teamwork. compliance with company policies and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s in Marine or Mechanical Engineering required.
• 0–3 years in engineering, design or construction, or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain DoD clearance may be required.

Mansioni

• Perform routine design calculations and drawing development for vessel construction, maintenance and repair.
• Comply with Austal USA’s employee handbook, guidelines, procedures.
• Interact with production, multiple design teams, customer representatives, and equipment manufacturers.
