Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking applicants for Entry Level Manufacturing Extra Hand/Laborer positions at the Riverville Mill. This entry-level role trains workers in multiple production jobs on an unpredictable 12-hour shift schedule, including days, nights and weekends with little notice.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to work in an industrial environment.
• Willing to work an unpredictable 12-hour shift schedule including days, nights and weekends.
• Willing to work overtime and holidays.
• Experience in industrial work such as manufacturing, logging, warehousing, heavy equipment operation, or construction.
• Background check and drug screen completed.

Aufgaben

• Operates routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications.
• Carry out routine activities that produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
• Maintains logs and records of units produced. Report any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
