Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking team members to support manufacturing operations, aiming to boost productivity, reduce downtime and waste, and uphold safety standards across the plant floor.

Responsibilities include assisting all plant roles, following lock-out/tag-out and 5S standards, maintaining equipment, and contributing to a collaborative, fast-paced environment; the role offers weekend/overtime potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must be willing to work the first and second shift.
• Must have a good attendance record.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Support a manufacturing operation with goals to increase productivity and reduce downtime and waste.
• Assume an active role in overall plant and facilities work; assist all jobs on the plant floor.
• Follow all safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Maintain shop and equipment per 5S standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
• May stack parts up to 30 lbs for up to 12 hours.
