Job summary

Oatey in Shakopee, Minnesota is seeking an assembler to perform a range of tasks including reading SOPs, assembling components, and preparing materials for daily production. The role requires basic math, good communication, and the ability to read blueprints or learn them on the job.

You will operate machinery, measure accurately, and document production progress as part of a production team. The position offers hourly pay with a compensation range shown below and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills required.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate machinery.
• Accuracy in measuring.
• Decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components per SOPs by reading and following procedures.
• Follow daily assembly schedule.
• Prepare and assemble components and materials for daily schedule build.
• Order raw materials where appropriate.
• Set up equipment and tools for daily build.
• Stage products and label where appropriate.
• Document completed and incomplete product.
• Other duties as assigned.
