Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Oregon is seeking an RDC Maintenance Utility Team Member, an entry-level role responsible for keeping distribution-center equipment fully operational.

You will be trained in safety protocols and basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing concepts while performing simple preventive maintenance tasks such as forklift battery replacement and light bulb changes. Through on-the-job experience, you will gain a deeper understanding of RDC building systems

Qualifications

• Entry-level position requiring basic mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Must be willing to learn safety protocols and basic concepts.
• Capable of performing preventive maintenance tasks and learning from others.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple preventive maintenance tasks such as forklift battery and light bulb replacement.
• Learn basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and plumbing concepts.
• Progress from simple to more complex maintenance tasks with guidance from maintenance mechanics.
