Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Team member to help keep equipment at the BDC fully operational.

You will learn basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing concepts and perform simple preventive maintenance tasks such as forklift battery and light bulb replacement. You will train in safety protocols and may progress to more complex tasks while collaborating with Maintenance Mechanics to develop repair skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or technical school graduate.
• Possess a valid state driver's license.
• Strong safety orientation and proven record of complying with safety requirements.
• Able to see objects and discriminate color.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple preventive maintenance tasks such as forklift battery and light bulb replacement.
• Learn basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing concepts.
• Progress from simple, to basic, to more complex preventive maintenance tasks.
• Work with Maintenance Mechanics to develop basic repair skills and assist with more complex maintenance activities.
