RockStep Capital is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician for Uptown Janesville mall in Wisconsin. This part-time role (15-20 hours/week) covers maintenance, janitorial tasks, landscaping, and snow removal with on-the-job training provided. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required; no prior experience needed.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on learning in a mall environment. Valid Wisconsin driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and do simple calculations.
• Willingness to learn new skills on the job.
• No prior experience required—training will be provided!
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and janitorial tasks to keep the property clean and welcoming.
• Assist with landscaping and seasonal outdoor duties (mowing, trimming, debris removal).
• Respond to maintenance requests and coordinate access for contractors.
• Operate basic equipment (lawnmowers, snow blowers, power washers) safely.
• Support safety procedures and proper PPE usage.
