Job summary

Staples, Inc. Careers is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join our warehouse team in Rexburg, Idaho. You will work with hand tools, learn hydraulics and electrical systems, and receive training to build a long-term career in maintenance.

You will have the opportunity to operate MHE equipment after certification, follow safety procedures, and contribute to a safe, efficient distribution network supporting our customers and stores.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Willingness to pass a drug screen where permitted by law.
• As a Full-Time associate, you may work overtime based on business needs.
• Able to work at heights up to 40 feet or more as needed.
• Able to lift/push/pull boxes weighing 70–100 pounds by hand.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance responsibilities using hand tools.
• Learn hydraulics, electrical systems, and industrial batteries.
• Be trained to operate and maintain MHE equipment (e.g., forklift, electric pallet jack).
• Follow vendor manuals and procedures for preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain safety procedures and contribute to a safe warehouse environment.
