Job summary

Staples Advantage Canada is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team in a warehouse setting. This role emphasizes the use of hand tools, a positive can-do attitude, and training to develop skills in hydraulics, electrical systems, and battery maintenance.

The position requires lifting 70–100 pounds, working at heights, and potential overtime. Training will cover safety procedures and MHE operation to support efficient, safe warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• A mechanical aptitude and desire to learn about hydraulics, electrical, and industrial batteries.
• Willingness to be trained to work with electricity and to use vendor manuals and procedures.
• Willingness to enroll in company-provided courses to improve knowledge base.
• Ability to be trained and MHE certified to operate power material handling equipment.
