Job summary

Staples Advantage Canada is seeking an entry level Maintenance Technician who enjoys working with hand tools and is eager to build a long-term career in maintenance. The role includes training and development to turn your passion into a professional path.

You’ll gain exposure to hydraulics, electrical systems and industrial batteries, with hands-on instruction, safety training, and opportunities to become certified on material handling equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Full-time role with overtime as needed.
• Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet.
• Able to lift 70–100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
• Learn hydraulics, electrical systems, and industrial batteries.
• Operate MHE after training and obtain certification.
• Collaborate with colleagues and customers to resolve issues.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain safe work practices.
