Staples in Montgomery, AL is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician. You’ll use hand tools and start a career with hands-on training to service warehouse equipment.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• As a Full-Time associate, you must be able to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime may be required.
• Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet or more as needed.
• Ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 and 100 pounds by hand.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
• Operate basic hand tools and follow vendor manuals.
• Learn hydraulics, electrical systems and battery maintenance.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a safe warehouse environment.
