Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to help maintain and improve the appearance of our properties. You will learn new maintenance skills and assist in keeping apartments market-ready while supporting a caring, service-driven team.

You may use technology tools and iPads to access work orders and translate information as needed, with training provided for the software system and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, plus basic maintenance skills.
• At least 1 year of general maintenance or related experience.
• Willingness to attend company-paid certification courses (e.g., EPA, safety).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair apartment systems to meet company standards and laws.
• Prepare unoccupied units for occupancy through cleaning, painting, and repairs.
• Assist manager with special projects and tasks as needed.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal of the property.
• Keep records of maintenance requests and follow up on status.
