Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in electronics manufacturing to hire an Entry-Level Machine Operator. This role is located in Saint Paul, MN, offering 1st shift (6am-3pm) or 2nd shift (3:30PM-12:00AM) with a starting pay of $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate wire cut/strip machines according to process sheets.
• Change blades, rollers, and guide tubes as needed.
• Inspect, sort, count, and bundle products while minimizing scrap.
• Document product lot numbers and production data in the ERP system.
• Read customer prints, SOPs, schematics, and drawings.
• Use measurement and inspection tools such as rulers, calipers, micrometers, and microscopes.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and identify missing or unclear specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
