Job summary

Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) Keller, TX is seeking an Entry-Level Lube Technician to join a friendly, collaborative team at 1175 S Main St. No prior automotive experience required thanks to our award-winning training program.

You’ll perform oil changes and preventative maintenance such as fluid checks, tire rotations, battery tests, lights and wiper replacements, and an 18-point inspection, delivering top-tier customer service while ensuring safety on the road.

Qualifications

• From day one you’ll receive hands-on training and support to thrive as a Lube Technician.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and a desire to learn are essential.
• English reading, writing, and speaking proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance tasks.
• Check and refill fluids, rotate tires, test batteries, and replace lights and wipers.
• Complete an 18-point maintenance check and assist customers as needed.

Together, we’ll help keep our guests safe on the road by providing top-tier customer service, while performing preventative maintenance services for their vehicles.

Your road to VIOC doesn’t require previous automotive experience. Through our award-winning training program, we’ll teach you how to:

• Change oil
• Check and refill fluids
• Rotate tires
• Test and replace batteries
• Inspect and replace lights and wipers
• Perform an 18-point maintenance check
• And other preventive maintenance services

QUALIFICATIONS: What you’ll need to keep moving forward

• Schedule flexibility (Weekend availability is likely, but we ensure you don’t work late nights or holidays)
• An eagerness to learn, a friendly attitude, and a desire to be part of a customer-focused team
• This role requires the ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking

We expect you can:

• Stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Crouch, bend, twist, and work with your hands above your head
• Be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
