Job summary

Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) in Chesterfield, MO is hiring an Entry-Level Lube Technician. You will perform oil changes and preventative maintenance to keep guests safe on the road while delivering excellent customer service.

No prior automotive experience is required; we provide award-winning training to teach you essential maintenance tasks and safe work practices in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Read and understand training materials and safety procedures.
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking.
• Flexibility with weekend shifts and no late nights or holidays.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn as part of a customer-focused team.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, crouch, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and routine maintenance on vehicles.
• Check and refill fluids; rotate tires; test and replace batteries.
• Inspect lights and wipers; perform an 18-point maintenance check.
• Deliver top-tier customer service and ensure guest safety.

• Schedule flexibility (Weekend availability is likely, but we ensure you don’t work late nights or holidays)

• This role requires the ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
• We expect you can:
  • Stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Crouch, bend, twist, and work with your hands above your head
  • Be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
