Job summary

Imperative Logistics in the United States seeks a Logistics Coordinator I to act as the liaison between customers, vendors and internal teams, delivering premier logistics solutions for sensitive, time-definite shipments.

You will maintain accurate records, respond to inquiries promptly by phone and email, ensure documentation is complete and professional, and coordinate with colleagues to meet company KPIs while supporting a safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Entry level
• Able to be patient and understanding in challenging situations
• Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Excel
• Able to effectively problem solve
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in CargoWise operating system
• Customs brokerage or freight forwarding background preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain quality performance
• Timely communication with customers via email and phone
• Acknowledge and resolve customer issues with periodic updates
• Keep records of customer contact, transactions, comments and complaints
• Ensure documentation is complete, professional and accurate
• Follow SOPs and leadership directives
• Communicate and coordinate with colleagues as necessary
• Adhere to company KPI’s
