Job summary

United Community Bank is seeking a Loan Servicing Floater to support the loan servicing department across tasks and shift between duties during the workday.

Essential duties include handling tax files, ACH and Auto Pay, recording mortgages and other documents, processing loan transactions, performing QC reviews, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory standards. Strong attention to detail and confidentiality are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tax files as needed
• Perform various ACH and Auto Pay duties as needed
• Assist with recording mortgages, releases, and other documents as needed to the appropriate county
• Assist with loan transaction processing
• Assist with QC review as needed
• Correct 1098 and 1099-S forms as needed
• Promptly answer, screen and forward incoming calls
• Perform daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels by proactively participating and contributing to a positive work environment, controlling emotions and temperament, and exhibiting courteous, respectful, and professional behavior at all times
• Maintain familiarity with bank products and services
• Maintain appropriate understanding of Bank systems
• Maintain familiarity with all regulatory standards
• Maintain familiarity with and uphold all Bank policies and procedures including policies and procedures related to this position
• Complete all training requirements as assigned
• Other related duties as assigned
