Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary contact for homebuyers, providing frequent communication and high-quality service.
  • Maintain communication with Mortgage and Homebuilding staff to move loans from application to closing.
  • Manage multiple loan files in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Set up and maintain loan files with complete documentation.
  • Order and track verifications (VOE, VOD) and credit reports.
  • Follow up on submitted loans to meet deadlines.
  • Review loan files for accuracy before underwriting.
  • Coordinate closing documentation and ensure requirements are met before final approval.

Job description

One of the largest and most respected homebuilding companies in the United States, is seeking a Loan Processor to join its Mortgage Division. This role is fully onsite and plays a critical part in helping homebuyers successfully secure financing for their new construction homes.


As a Loan Processor, you will work directly with homebuying customers and act as a key liaison between borrowers, the homebuilding sales team, and the underwriting department. You will manage loan documentation, ensure accuracy and completeness of files, and help deliver an excellent customer experience throughout the mortgage process.

Key Responsibilities


  • Serve as a primary point of contact for homebuyers throughout the loan process, providing frequent communication and high-quality customer service

  • Maintain ongoing communication with Mortgage and Homebuilding staff to ensure loans move efficiently from application through closing

  • Manage multiple loan files simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Set up and maintain loan files, ensuring all required documentation is collected and properly recorded

  • Order and track required exhibits and verifications, including:

  • Verification of Employment (VOE)

  • Verification of Deposits (VOD)

  • Credit reports and other supporting documentation

  • Follow up on submitted and pending loans to ensure deadlines are met

  • Review loan files for accuracy and completeness prior to submitting to underwriting and the closing department

  • Coordinate closing documentation and ensure all requirements are satisfied before final approval


Required Qualifications


  • High school diploma required (college coursework or degree preferred)

  • Ability to work 100% onsite

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and clearly with clients and internal teams

  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and follow established processes


Preferred Qualifications


  • Prior experience in mortgage, banking, financial services, real estate, or administrative support roles

  • Experience handling documentation-heavy or process-driven work

  • Interest in building a long-term career in mortgage lending or financial operations
