Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort is seeking a Cook I to prepare and cook basic food orders across meat, fish, poultry and related items according to recipes. The role emphasizes presentation and adherence to safety standards to ensure a quality dining experience for our guests.

The Cook I will operate grill, oven, panini press and related equipment, follow prep lists, measure ingredients accurately and maintain cleanliness and sanitation as part of the HAACP program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Food Handler’s Certificate required.
• 1–2 years restaurant production/cooking experience.
• Culinary classwork or Culinary Arts degree preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and HACCP procedures.

Responsibilities
