Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking an entry-level line cook to join our kitchen team. You will handle basic cooking principles, operate a station, and follow leadership’s specifications.

Candidates should know basic food safety principles, stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and work all shifts including overtime and weekends.

Starting at 21 USD per hour, base salary is complemented by a comprehensive benefits package, with opportunities to grow as we expand our culinary program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Culinary degree or 2+ years of experience in the food service industry.
• Ability to carry large heavy items, up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours).
• Ability to work all shifts, overtime and weekends as needed.
• Frequent bending, stooping and lifting of objects.
• Willingness to work all shifts and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up, work, and maintain a clean and safe workstation.
• Complete daily prep tasks.
• Help the team meet time and quality standards set by the supervisor.
• Cook and plate completed dishes for service.
• Clean kitchen equipment and work/storage areas.
