Job summary

GPM Life Insurance in San Antonio, TX is hiring for an entry level New Business Life Insurance Application Processor. This in-office role handles daily workflow of life insurance applications, with on-the-job training of 6 to 12 months and a 39-hour work week (Friday 5 hours).

You will process applications for accuracy under HIPAA, coordinate with underwriters and agents, request medical records, manage documents via DocuSign, and help keep policy pages and illustrations accurate.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming life insurance applications for accuracy.
• Communicate with the Chief Underwriter and Underwriters as needed.
• Request and follow up on medical records with vendors.
• Review agent requirements, medical exam orders, and instructions.
• Answer inbound calls from agents and update files.
• Identify and process internal and external replacements per state rules.
• Report MIB codes and finalize application reviews.
• Review policy pages and illustrations for accuracy.
• Send documents via DocuSign and imaging correspondence.
