Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receives, examines, and files legal documents for sufficiency, timeliness, and required documentation; returns unacceptable documents with notes.
• Assists the public at the counter, by phone, and online; explains filing processes and procedures and basic court fees.
• Verifies and updates information in manual and automated systems; posts payments and makes docket entries.
• Prepares and files a variety of legal documents and related materials; maintains and locates records and files as needed.
• Assists with court calendars and notices; coordinates document flow for court assignments.
