Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school or equivalent; vocational school graduate preferred.
• Experience: No experience required.
• Skills: Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, or schematics; Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, data entry, production software).
• Physical: Ability to lift up to 15 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Aligns and joins parts into housing, modifies, fabricates, and builds equipment and subassemblies using power tools, hand tools, and soldering equipment.
• Follows instructions on work order cleaves and tests fiber.
• Adds RFD tag, measures and aligns fiber for laser.
• Sends completed fiber to stock location.
• Records order in production database.
• Retrieves completed fibers from stock for packaging and labeling.
• Sends completed fiber to sterilizer then on to Quality Assurance department.
