Job summary

IPG Medical Corporation, headquartered in Marlborough, MA, is seeking entry-level fiber assemblers for medical surgical products. This is a 2nd shift role with a 3 pm–11:30 pm schedule and a 10% shift differential. New hires train on the 1st shift for 3–4 weeks before moving to the regular 2nd shift.

You will work in a manufacturing environment with PPE and safety rules in place. As an assembler, you will use hand tools and light power tools to prepare fibers, read instructions, and record

Qualifications

• Education: High school or equivalent; vocational school graduate preferred.
• Experience: No experience required.
• Skills: Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, or schematics.
• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, data entry, production software).

Responsibilities

• Aligns and joins parts into housing, modifies, fabricates, and builds equipment and subassemblies using power tools, hand tools, and various soldering equipment.
• Follows instructions on work order cleaves and tests fiber.
• Adds RFD tag, measures and aligns fiber for laser.
• Sends completed fiber to stock location and to sterilizer then Quality Assurance.
• Records order in production database and retrieves completed fibers from stock for packaging and labeling.

• Physical Requirements:
