IPG Photonics is seeking an entry level Fiber Assembly position in Marlborough, MA. The role involves preparing fibers for medical surgical products, using hand and power tools to process and assemble fiber components, and following work orders to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• English-speaking with ability to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Aligns and joins parts into housing using power tools and hand tools.
• Follows instructions on work orders for cleaves and tests fiber.
• Adds RFID tag, measures and aligns fiber for laser.
• Sends completed fiber to stock location and records in production database.
• Retrieves completed fibers from stock for packaging and labeling.
• Sends fiber to sterilizer and then to Quality Assurance.
