Job summary

IPG Medical Corporation in Marlborough, MA is hiring a Medical Fiber Manufacturing Technician to operate cleanroom equipment for assembling medical fiber optic products on the 2nd shift with shift differential. You will troubleshoot lines, handle fiber, perform stripping and inspection, and maintain contamination control standards to meet daily production goals.

You will follow procedures, document inspection results, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to support training,

Qualifications

2–5 years manufacturing or cleanroom experience
Experience in ISO Class cleanroom environments and contamination control
Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical issues on manufacturing equipment
Familiarity with fiber handling, stripping, cleaving and inspection processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word

Responsibilities

Monitor and operate equipment to assemble medical fiber products
Troubleshoot automated line stations
Follow procedures and document inspection results
Maintain clean room standards and contamination control
Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance to ensure equipment readiness
Monitor production processes, identify abnormalities and support deviations
Support engineering experiments by collecting data and providing feedback
Assist with IQ, OQ, and PQ qualifications and reports
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Operations on training, inventory, and production readiness
