Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Laboratory Technician I at our Lafayette, CO site to support routine testing and data entry using the eLIMS system. This role emphasizes adherence to ISO/IEC 17025 and company quality management practices while maintaining a safe lab environment.

Qualifications

• Register incoming samples and maintain accurate records for QC tests or regulatory purposes.
• Enter sample data into Eurofins eLIMS accurately and timely.
• Complete laboratory testing on incoming samples; meet turnaround time goals.
• Verify results and submit to appropriate personnel for transmission.
• Identify process issues and report with proposed solutions to supervisor.
• Maintain readiness to respond to client/staff queries.

Job Description

The Laboratory Technician I receives sufficient authority from, and isaccountable to the Laboratory Supervisor or appointed designate for thesuccessful completion of assigned duties and responsibilities and hasthe authority to take action necessary to carry out the duties andresponsibilities of this position and to identify the occurrence ofdepartures from the quality system or from the procedures forperforming tests and/or calibrations, so long as such action does notdeviate from established company guidelines, is consistent with soundtechnical and business judgment, and follows the practices of thelaboratory

Laboratory Technician I Duties Include but are not Limited to the Following:

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Reads, understands and follows management system requirements as relevant toresponsibilities, including but not limited to requirements found in the Quality Manual,SOPs, Local Work Instructions and Methods which in turn ensures compliance withISO/IEC 17025/AOAC ALACC requirements and relevant government regulatoryrequirements
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations relative to assigned analyticalwork; maintain and assist others in maintaining a clean, safe work environment
• Registration of incoming samples (as needed), maintaining a neat and accurate recordsystem of work performed on a daily basis and as needed for quality control tests orregulatory purposes
• Enter the sample data into Eurofins eLIMS system in a timely and accurate manner
• Complete laboratory testing on all incoming samples in an accurate, efficient and timelymanner; ensure sample turnaround time goals are met or exceeded
• Verify results and submit results to the appropriate personnel for transmission, in atimely manner
• Identify process difficulties and report these together with proposed solutions tosupervisor
• Maintain a perpetual state of readiness and willingness to respond to the queries andneeds of clients, staff, and co-workers
• Maintain cooperative working relationships with all company employees. Communicateorally and in writing to co-workers. This includes intra and inter departmentalemployees
• Promote the company image through the exercising of sound and ethical businesspractices as related to the public and our customers
• Continually strive to improve the quality of work we provide to our clients throughexisting and new technologies
• Identify non-conformances and out-of-specifications
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Performs other duties as assigned

Additional Information

Position isfull-time working any of the following schedules: Tuesday - Saturday 3:00am/4:00am - noon, Sunday - Thursday 12:00pm - 8:00pm,Tuesday - Saturday12:00pm - 8:00pm, andadditional hours as needed.

Excellent full-time benefits including:
