Job summary

Blacklidge is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support QC/QA testing of asphalt emulsions and related materials. This entry-level role includes a six-month training period, with no prior lab experience required beyond fundamental skills.

This position is fully onsite at 11080 Reichold Rd, Gulfport, MS, 39503, with benefits such as health, vision, dental, and 401(k). Overtime may be required to meet testing and production needs.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency; Outlook, Word, and Excel experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine lab activities.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed, sometimes with short notice.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC/QA testing on asphalt emulsion products and related materials.
• Monitor test results and communicate potential quality concerns.
• Complete testing accurately within timelines and document results.
• Maintain electronic laboratory records and reports.
