Job Title: Entry-Level Lab Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Lab Technician to join our dynamic wet lab team. The successful candidate will assist in conducting routine laboratory tests, experiments, and sample preparation while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform basic laboratory procedures including sample accessioning using Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Maintain accurate records of lab activities, data, and observations in the designated document management systems.
• Assist in maintaining laboratory operations, including cleaning the workspace and recording/calibrating storage thermometers.
• Assist in inventory management of lab supplies.
• Follow all safety protocols and keep the wet lab area clean and organized.
• Support senior scientists and research staff with ongoing projects and general lab maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of laboratory experience (academic or industry).
• Familiarity with wet lab techniques and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications (not required):

• Internship or coursework in molecular biology or analytical chemistry.
• Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
