Qualifications

• Completion of Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited college/university.
• Minimal experience is required; no experience needed with a Master's degree.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to perform basic calculations; strong writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop plans and drawings related to ITS and Traffic design, including signal design and fiber routing.
• Organize ITS and Traffic investigations, planning, and analysis with a well-defined scope.
• Outline and prepare straightforward technical reports under review by a more experienced professional.
• Research feasible design approaches, site conditions, codes, and emerging technologies.
• Contribute to specifications, permits, and preliminary estimates of hours, cost, and materials.
• Participate in quality control checks and coordinate with other disciplines; perform field observations when needed.
