Job summary

CCI- Computer Consultants International, Inc. seeks an entry-level IT Support Technician to assist the University of South Carolina, especially within the College of Nursing.

You will provide frontline support to faculty, staff, and students, handling in-person, remote, and ticket-based help. You’ll troubleshoot Windows and macOS, deploy and configure equipment, assist with onboarding, and support classroom and meeting tech including video conferencing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of computers, technology, or end users.
• Ability to troubleshoot common computer problems.
• Familiarity with Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline support in person, remote, and via service requests.
• Troubleshoot issues with Windows and macOS, software, and peripherals.
• Set up and maintain computers, accessories, and equipment.
• Assist with onboarding, workstation setups, and moves.
• Support classroom and meeting technologies including video conferencing.
• Assist with end-user accounts and basic endpoint-management platforms.
• Document steps and resolutions and escalate when needed.
