Peak Payment Solutions - IT Technician

Peak Payment Solutions in Layton, UT is hiring a full-time IT technician responsible for software and hardware support and maintenance. The role involves a mix of in-office and telecommuting work, predominantly telecommuting.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM MST, with some on-call evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with system and peripherals installations and troubleshoot technical problems via phone and remote software.
• Manage inventory of PC hardware and peripherals.
• Ship PCs and hardware to clients.
• Answer staff questions regarding company-supported applications in person and via phone.
• Maintain internal phone system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve computer problems.
• Serve as liaison between staff and Development department to resolve issues.
• Work directly with staff on application projects.
• Document resolutions for future reference.
• Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Take responsibility for tasks and ensure follow-up.
• Other duties as assigned.
