Job summary

Torrent Technologies is seeking an entry-level IT professional to join our team in Kalispell, MT, or remotely nationwide. Under close supervision, you will help plan, develop and implement tech-based solutions and provide end-user support for internal and external clients.

You will investigate issues, triage, diagnose, and work with IT teams and suppliers, ensuring tickets are resolved and changes are well documented.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to identify trends and assess the severity of defects and data issues.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Insurance industry experience is a plus.
• Flood underwriting knowledge and ANFI certification are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, triage, diagnose, and help resolve system issues for internal and external clients, working with IT teams and suppliers as needed.
• Provide ongoing support until tickets are fully resolved.
• Analyze reported system issues to determine validity, severity, and how to reproduce them.
• Assist Senior Analysts with business requirements, functional specifications, and system enhancement documentation.
• Record changes made to existing systems and help ensure support documentation is complete and maintained.
• Support business and client needs and research, including escalating findings to the appropriate team member.
• Assist senior staff with client and user requirements gathering, status reports, release notes, and task planning activities.
• Follow change management processes, coordinate client-specific requests and resources, handle outage notifications, and support weekly reporting of incoming, open, and closed issues.
