Job summary

The Baldwin Group is seeking an Insurance Agent to sell new accounts and build relationships with clients, insurance partners, and the service team. You will receive training to earn your P&C license and start with a base salary plus commissions.

This role is not remote; a 60–70K first-year total compensation is typical with growth as you gain experience, with room for performance-based advancement.

Qualifications

• We will train people with strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Hospitality or sales backgrounds (restaurant, auto) are considered.
• Self-starter with ability to influence others via verbal and written presentations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Gathers information and develops recommendations for prospective clients and presents proposals.
• Communicates with clients, prospects, and partners clearly and professionally.
• Finalizes sales, coordinates deposits, and briefs service team on policy sales.
• Maintains accuracy, timeliness and attention to detail to minimize errors.
• Understands insurance industry and underwriting criteria for partners.
