Job summary

The Ekblade Agency in Connecticut is hiring for an Entry-Level Insurance Sales Assistant. No prior insurance experience is required; you will learn, make calls, and work toward earning your CT Property & Casualty license while supporting the sales team.

You will engage in telemarketing, turn leads into warm transfers, and develop sales skills. This in-office role offers base pay plus commission with year-end potential, and growth opportunities within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Property & Casualty License is required but not needed to apply; training will be provided
• Prior sales experience is required
• Willing to make 100-200 calls per day to turn cold leads into warm transfers
• Self-driven, hardworking, and outgoing personality
• Strong communication skills and a team player mentality
• Coachable, adaptable, and eager to grow in the insurance industry

Responsibilities

• Work on obtaining your CT Property & Casualty License
• Assist our licensed sales team in identifying key prospects
• Turn cold leads into warm transfers through telemarketing and manage administrative tasks
• Learn Allstate’s systems, products, and procedures while supporting the sales team
• Build a network and circle of influence in the local insurance market
