Job summary

AAON, INC. is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician I to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and install on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.

You will work with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime, support safety practices, and improve reliability in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years in industrial maintenance or related fields; technical training or an associate degree preferred; CMMS

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or related field
• Technical school training, vocational certification, or an associate degree preferred
• Journeyman certification or other maintenance certifications preferred
• Experience using CMMS systems is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems according to schedules
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Assist in diagnosing equipment failures and implement corrective actions
• Maintain maintenance records and work orders
• Support equipment installations and safety procedures
• Collaborate with production to minimize downtime and improve reliability
