Job summary

AAON is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician I to support preventive maintenance and basic repairs of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. You will work with production teams to minimize downtime and uphold safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include assisting with troubleshooting, basic installation, and maintaining records, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years in industrial/manufacturing maintenance or related field.
• Technical training or associate degree preferred in Industrial Maintenance / Mechatronics.
• Journeyman or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems per schedules.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic equipment.
• Assist in diagnosing failures and implement corrective actions.
• Install and maintain motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, and related equipment.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Maintain maintenance records and work orders.
• Support equipment installations, relocations, and upgrades.
• Contribute to continuous improvement for reliability and safety.
