Job summary

AAON, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician I to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and install on manufacturing equipment and facility systems to support safe, efficient production.

You will work with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime, maintain reliability, and support continuous improvement initiatives, while following safety policies and using CMMS for work orders and documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years in industrial/manufacturing maintenance or related field.
• Technical school training or associate degree preferred.
• Journeyman certification or related maintenance certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems per schedule.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical equipment.
• Assist in diagnosing equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Install, align, maintain, and repair motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Maintain maintenance records and work orders.
• Support equipment installations, relocations, and facility improvement projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement focusing on reliability, safety, and productivity.
