Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in maintenance/repair of industrial equipment in manufacturing is desirable.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to safely operate hydraulic, pneumatic equipment, presses, cordless drills, clamps and other small tools.
• Willing to learn to use precision measuring tools to diagnose wear or damage.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tasks including scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Inspect, repair and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Read and understand basic machine schematics with minimal guidance.
• Organize parts and materials and keep work area tidy.
• Lift/move up to 50 lbs unassisted; up to 20 lbs routinely.
