Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an entry-level HVAC service professional to build a long-term career through on-site installation and repair work at customer locations. You will forecast issues, gather materials, and coordinate with team leaders and customers to ensure projects run smoothly.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing equipment, using hand-tools and software, and maintaining safety and asset security.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or certificate from an accredited technical school.
• Typically 0-2 years of experience in HVAC; technical school or formal training is preferred.
• EPA Certification preferred (e.g. HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer etc.).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs by forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing on-site work.
• Represent the company by serving as the direct customer contact and be responsible for products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems on site.
• Use cutting-edge software and technology, along with hand-tools, to diagnose and repair units following blueprints or engineering specifications.
• Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
• Enforce safety standards and track company assets by recording use, wear and conditions.
