Job summary

CoolSys is hiring a Service Tech2 – Refrigeration to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems for commercial or industrial clients. You will guide junior technicians and ensure safe, efficient operation with strong diagnostic skills.

The role requires basic HVAC/R knowledge, a valid EPA certificate, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Work environment includes diverse projects across industries with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Tech Skills level2 with 80% or better required.
• Valid EPA certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Report to work in a timely manner as scheduled by supervisor.
• Repair and overhaul equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices.
• Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and/or mechanical skills.
• Maintain legible corporate and personal records of work history.
• Provide preventative maintenance activities and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Follow safety policies and PPE requirements; perform other duties as assigned.
