The Service Tech 3 - Refrigeration role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems for commercial or industrial clients, mentoring junior technicians, and ensuring safe, efficient operation of equipment.

Qualifications

• Education / Training: High school diploma or GED, equivalent work experience and trade or technical school classes.
• Must have passed Tech Skills level 3 with an 80% or better.
• Valid EPA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Report to work in a timely manner as scheduled by supervisor.
• Repair and overhaul equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices.
• Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and/or mechanical skills.
• Maintain legible records of work history.
• Provide general repair work on refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment.
